Terms of service

The agreement between you and [Company legal name] (“Hookloop”) for using the Hookloop service.

Draft

This document is a working draft and hasn’t been reviewed by a lawyer yet. It will be finalised before Hookloop takes its first paying customer.

1. The service

Hookloop is software that helps subscription apps research, create, publish and measure marketing content, work with creators, and attribute installs and revenue. Features change over time; we will tell you before removing anything you rely on.

2. Accounts and workspaces

You must give accurate information and keep your login secure. The person who creates a workspace, or an agency that creates a client workspace, is responsible for who they invite and what those members do.

Agencies act on behalf of their clients and confirm they are authorised to connect their clients’ apps, accounts and data.

3. Your content and accounts

You own the content you upload and the content Hookloop generates for you, to the extent the law and the AI providers’ terms allow. You give us the licence we need to host, process and publish it at your direction.

You are responsible for the social accounts you connect and for following each platform’s rules, advertising and disclosure laws (including creator sponsorship disclosure), and for the claims your content makes.

Nothing is published or offered to a creator without your approval. You are responsible for what you approve.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Hookloop to deceive people, impersonate others, publish unlawful or infringing content, send spam, scrape data you have no right to, or evade platform enforcement. We may suspend workspaces that put people, platforms or Hookloop at risk.

5. Third-party providers and your keys

Hookloop connects to AI, data, payment and social platforms. When you use your own keys, your use is also governed by those providers’ terms and billed by them. We are not responsible for third-party outages, price changes or policy changes.

6. Fees, credits and budgets

Plan fees are billed in advance through Stripe and are non-refundable except where the law requires. Credits are prepaid, charged at provider cost plus the markup shown in your workspace, do not expire while your account is open, and are not redeemable for cash.

Budgets and caps are tools to help you control spend; small overruns can happen while in-flight work finishes.

7. Data and privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Where we process personal data from your apps (for example through the SDK or revenue webhooks) we do so as your processor under the Data Processing Addendum.

8. Device farm

If you connect your own Mac and phones (Fleet), the Device Farm Terms also apply.

9. Estimates and attribution

Scores, predictions and “modeled” figures are statistical estimates, not guarantees. Exact attribution depends on your SDK, webhook and platform setup.

10. Warranties and liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, account suspensions by third-party platforms, or indirect damages.

11. Ending the agreement

You can cancel at any time from Billing. We may end or suspend the service for material breach. After cancellation you can export your data for 30 days, after which we delete it as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. General

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction]. We may update them with 30 days’ notice for material changes. Contact: [legal@gethookloop.com].
